Helping your child get used to face coverings and masks

As you begin to get ready to head back to school in September if you are in Hybrid Learning (Cohort A or B)here is a suggestion from one of our Speech Clinicians, Kelly Golas to help your child get used to wearing facial coverings/masks:

A fun and easy game to play is to have your kids practice guessing emotions hidden under masks/facial coverings as you practice wearing them at home.

Our eyes are a form of nonverbal communication and give helpful information about how our communication partners are feeling and thinking.

Thanks for the tip Mrs. Golas!
