Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Council

Purpose

Ensure active community participation in planning and improving the instruction and curriculum affecting state graduation standards, and recommend to the School Board districtwide education standards, assessments and program evaluations.

Members

The Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Council consists of 16 district parents and residents, eight employees, five students, the director of teaching and learning and up to three school board members (members of the Board Curriculum and Instruction Committee).

Terms

  • Students: One-year term
  • Members: Three-year term
